I am a true romantic. We live in a lovely home in the country and love to entertain. But our foyer was always too dark. We have a few lights in it but I wanted something more romantic. Since there are 12 stairs that were just sitting there, I decided to decoupage 12 votive candles to adorn these stairs. During the day, when they're not lit they look charming, during the evening when we entertain the most, these little softly lit charmers add a true sense of warmth to our home. I find that it's not only the women that comment on them but even our guy friends, they always seem to find a nice thing to say about these.

That's why you'll see nature in all of my work, along with romance.
