Every crafter enjoys nice tools! Improve your crafting experience by making this felted tape measure and pin cushion. They also make a great gift. This pattern is easy, but results in a beautiful customized sewing set that anyone would enjoy using.

It is also a wonderful way to start experimenting with wool felt.

This pattern includes all of the instruction you need to complete the tool set including where to purchase real wool felt and how to do the blanket stitch to attach two pieces of felt.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Pin Cushion: ~3 inches around
Tape Measure: 2 inch diameter, 3/4 inch height

Materials:

2 shades of pink wool felt - 10" squares
2 shades of green wool felt - 10" squares
1 small scrap of yellow wool felt - 1" square
1 skein of stranded DMC 25 embroidery floss in pink
1 skein of stranded DMC 25 embroidery floss in green
1 disposable drink cap (~1 and 3/4inch diameter)
1 Dritz retractable tape measure
Sharp sewing scissors
