Pattern Description:

The cinquefoil (5-petal flower) is a heraldic symbol representing hope and joy!

This needle tatting pattern is perfect for making cute earrings, pendants, or even make several and attach to make a bookmark design. Or - sew them onto a headband and make a cute fascinator! The possibilities are endless :)

I created this motif after making several of Barbara Foster's Medallion patterns when I was learning needle tatting. I hope you love it and I hope our shuttle friends will love it too!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 1-1/4" wide (sz10) or 1-3/4" wide (sz3)

Materials:

  • Sz 3-0 needle and 9ft of sz3 thread, OR
  • Sz 5-0 needle and 7ft of sz 10 thread
  • Small beads, optional (4mm for sz10 thread, 6mm for sz3 thread)
