A Christmas Carousel Centerpiece

from Busy Crow Studio
(11) Name: 'Other : A Christmas Carousel Centerpiece
A Christmas Carousel Centerpiece A Christmas Carousel

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Using a screwdriver
  • Measuring

Pattern Description:

This is not so much a tutorial as much as just a detailed narrative on how I created this Christmas carousel holiday centerpiece. I won a prize from the magazine Craft Stylish for this project, and did not create a tutorial for the project as I made it, but I describe the process with photos from the completed carousel.

This can be such a versatile project; you can make a carousel for a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or other celebration, and feel good about recycling a metal cookie tin in the process!

  • Approximately 10" x 9"

  • Recycle a butter cookie tin

  • Assorted embellishments
  • Ribbon
  • Plastic reindeer, or other animals; or paper cutouts of animals
