6-Point Glass Christmas Star Ornament

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • It is helpful to have some experience with manipulating wire with craft pliers before trying this star, but not necessary.

Pattern Description:

As a child, I became fascinated with hand blown glass Christmas ornaments that my Grandmother brought over from Germany.

This pattern will teach you how to make a classic, ornate glass star ornament, and provide you with a link to a site that sells a wide variety of blown glass beads.

After completing this pattern, you will have the skills required to complete your own ornament designs! Making hand blown glass ornaments with friends and family is a Christmas tradition that I have cherished for years.
