Pattern Description:

As a child, I became fascinated with hand blown glass Christmas ornaments that my Grandmother brought over from Germany.

This pattern will teach you how to make a classic, ornate glass star ornament, and provide you with a link to a site that sells a wide variety of blown glass beads.

After completing this pattern, you will have the skills required to complete your own ornament designs! Making hand blown glass ornaments with friends and family is a Christmas tradition that I have cherished for years.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

The final Christmas Star will be 3 and 1/4 inches across.

Materials:

Round tip needle nose pliers
1 round blown glass bead 10mm in diameter
8 round blown glass beads 6mm in diameter
2 round solid glass craft beads 3-4mm in diameter
12 small drop blown glass beads 16mm in length
12 large glass tube beads 30mm in length
12 small glass tube beads 15mm in length
Wire cutters
Craft Wire: 24 and 28 gauge
