The patterns are written so it is easier for beginners to follow, and include lots of photos and step by step instructions. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, sewing seams, increases and decreases, changing colours, i-cord, and intarsia knitting.

All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles except the i-cord knitted pieces which are knitted on two double pointed needles.
