Tok Tokkie Softie

from Bobbin Hobnobbin
(6) Name: 'Knitting : Tok Tokkie Softie
Tok Tokkie Softie Tok Tokkie

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knitting in the round.
  • Colour changes.
  • Stuffing knitted pieces.

Pattern Description:

The Tok Tokkie softie design is taken from my own interpretation of the Zulu Tokoloshe.

In South Africa, particularly in the regions where the Zulu culture is predominant, the Tokoloshe is believed to be a mischievous water-sprite that can become invisible after drinking water.

Tok Tokkie is just as mischievous a blend of impishness as well as old-school rag-doll flavour.
