(6) Name: 'Knitting : 'Ted'

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, Purl, Decrease, Increase, Cast on/off.
  • optional color changes in row

Pattern Description:

"Ted" is knitted from the top down in one flat piece, the ears are knitted separately. "Ted" is a very easy Bear to make as there is very little seaming once knitted, and no sewing on arms, legs and head. I have made "Ted" in Sirdar Snowflake DK, Fringe Eyelash, Ice Short and Puffy and Polar Fleece yarns, a very versatile pattern. But do remember when substituting the pattern 8ply/DK yarn that needle size and yarn quantity may vary. A lovely little Bear for the little ones.

not important, but ensure your knitting weave is tight enough so as the filling is not visible.
