Southern Bell cardigan.

This Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch - by- stitch pattern is perfect for a novice knitter.
If you think ALL you can manage is a scarf - you can knit this cardigan using the pattern I wrote.

This lovely cardigan knitted using my pattern will fit American Girl Doll, Gotz doll or any other 18" doll. The yarn used here is an ordinary sports weight acrylic yarn. You will need about 2 oz of yarn. The sweater is done without side seams.

Gauge:

6 stitches by 8 rows = 1 inch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

finished garment will fit 18" doll like AG / American Girl or Gotz doll

Materials:

basic sports weight acrylic or similar yarn, ordinary knitting needles
