Graduation time is upon us! I've never seen a knit graduation bear, so I decided to create School Colors Graduation Bears...in two sizes (approx. 9" or 12" sitting, without ears or caps) and different yarns (both worsted weight or bulky fuzzy or eyelash)! What a wonderful gift for your special graduate to receive a bear dressed in cap, gown and honor cord, all in the school colors! And you could make it even more special by personalizing it with the graduate's name and/or year on the top of the cap! Celebrate the accomplishment... preschool to college...with one of these distinctive adorable bears and let the graduate know just how special he/she is!
Work tightly enough to ensure that the stuffing will not show through the stitches of the bears. For the cap, gown & honor cord: Size 6 needles...9 stitches & 12 rows per 2"
440 yards of Bulky weight
