  • Salvador is knitted both flat and in the round.
  • The stitches used are knit, purl, make 1 front and knit 2 together.

Pattern Description:

The PDF pattern includes many pictures and easy to follow, row-for-row instructions on how to knit a sweet seahorse called Salvador.

One of my favourite things to do when knitting is using different stitches to create interesting surface patterns. In Salvador's case, I'm happy with how simple stitches can create such a fun, seahorse-like texture!

Gauge:

24 stitches and 32 rows = 10x10 cm / 4x4" in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 23 cm / 9" tall

Materials:

  • double-pointed knitting needles (3.5 mm - US 4 - UK 9-10 recommended)
  • yarn suitable for your needles (yellow and a little bit of black)
  • stuffing
  • embroidery needle
