Pattern Description:

If you know just 2 stitches; knit and purl - you can knit this cardigan.

This will fit American Girl Doll or any other 18" doll.
I have written this Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch - by- stitch pattern that anyone can follow.
In addition this pattern contains several "tricks of the trade" that I have included as an extra tool for the beginner to improve in the future.

Now as for the cardigan:
This is a cardigan is made without side seams.
The only seams are under arms in the sleeves.

I used a slightly heavier / thicker worsted weight acrylic in this sweater.

Gauge:

16 stitches x 22 rows = 4"
