Knitting these puppies is a total delight and very addictive. The pattern is easy to follow and each different type of wool creates a unique character. I bought the pattern to make toys for our yearly cancer fundraiser (Relay for Life), but I know I will have difficulties to part with my gorgeous puppies. Already have litter of 10, currently knitting pups 11, 12 & 13 - after not knitting for over 25 years. LOVING IT .
So adorable! I can't wait to make this!!! :) You do beautiful work!!
Thank you :D
Its knitted flat, separate pieces and seamed. There are head, body, ears x2, front legs x 2, back legs x 2 and tail. :D
This looks adorable! Quick question though - is it all knitted in one piece or is it separate pieces and then seamed?
You have it just right absolutely adorable!
Gypsy Cream, I love the way you think (and design). I'm not giving up until I find those eyes for the three bears I have finished but not yet assembled! These puppies are precious!!!!
Thank you, I love designing lol! Got something new in the pipeline.Try your Ebay for Ebay shops/stores selling safety eyes and noses. I'd like to see your bears once assembled.
i wish i have one dog like this , is that a real puppy?
Thank you :D No this little puppy only measured 5 inches, its from the Pocket Puppy design. It can be knitted in about any yarn you have to hand, only takes 100 yards or so.
Now I need to learn how to knit. This dog looks just like my little puppy Romeo when he is not in hi show cut. Would be a big hit with Bedlington Terrier owners.
