As a "hands on" grandma I find it necessary to be able to carry an assortment of small toys to entertain my grandson at any given time.
Pocket Puppy is from my pocket series of designs, designed to be kept in a pocket or bag should the need arise.
Pocket Puppy sits at just 7 inches/18 cms. He takes his character from the yarn used to create him. He can be a posh pooch or a scruffy mutt. The choice is yours.
This PDF pattern includes a very detailed step by step assembly guide to help you to assemble your Puppy.
Note to knitter: For increases I used knitting into the front and back of the same stitch, this gives a neat and firm increase.
If this puppy is to be given to a young child it's perhaps better to embroider eyes and nose. Also if you are going to use bows or adornments please sew securely into place.
There is no gauge, it will depend on your yarn weight.
100 meters of DK weight
