Pattern Description:

This pattern is written by me for beginner.

If you know just 2 stitches; knit and purl - you can knit this top.

This will fit American Girl Doll or any other 18" doll.
I have written this Easy Simple step-by-step, row-by-row, stitch - by- stitch pattern that anyone can follow.
This pattern includes full color photo illustrations.
In addition this pattern contains several "tricks of the trade" that I have included as an extra tool for the beginner to improve in the future.

Now as for the sweater:
This is a top / dress done in a timeless style of classic design of Coco Chanel. This sweater is made without side seams.
The only seams are under arms in the sleeves and one in the back.

I used the most common worsted weight acrylic in this sweater.
You can change the colors and decorations for a different look of this classic bell shape.

Gauge:

18 stitches x 24 rows = 4"
