Pattern Description:

Penny Pig is a huggable squidgy knitted toy with a curly tail.

The knitting pattern is designed for beginners. You will need to know how to knit, purl, cast on, cast off, increase using KFB (knit front and back), and decrease using K2TOG (knit two stitches together). The pattern includes row by row instructions so you don't forget your place. You will need to sew the finished pig together, and step by step construction photos are included in the pattern.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The finished pig is approximately 22cm high.

Materials:

  • All pieces are knitted flat on 3mm straight needles.
  • To knit the pig you will need approximately 100g double knit yarn in pink, plus 100g toy stuffing.
  • You will also need black beads for eyes.
  • Penny Pig's tail is made by knitting i-cord, and this uses two double pointed needles, plus a pipe cleaner/chenille stem.
