Mister Snowman will brighten up cold winter days, and he won't melt!
This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Mr Snowman with his hat and scarf, and you have the option to make the potato nose (light brown) or a carrot nose. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you.
The pattern is written row by row so it is easier for beginners to follow, and includes photos and step by step instructions for making the finished toy.
You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, sewing seams, increase with KFB and decrease with K2TOG.
The snowman's arms are branches, and knitted from i-cord, and if you are new to this, I have a tutorial on my blog at http://fluffandfuzzknitting.wordpress.com
All pieces are knitted flat on straight 4mm needles, except the i-cord arms which are made on two 4mm DPNs (double pointed needles). The snowman uses less than 50g of white double knit yarn, and less than 25g each of green, black, brown and light brown wool. The finished snowman is 18 cm tall.
