(6) Name: 'Knitting : Minimeow

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit n the round
  • increases (make one stitch)
  • decreases (knit two together)

Pattern Description:

These kittens and puppies to love and give away are easy to make and much
appreciated by big and small kids.

This pattern gives instructions for two different models, a kittylike and a doglike
one. All is knit in the round with legs, ears and tail knit separately and sewn on later
(alternatively you can always pick up the stitches directly from the body and join as
you go).

This is an easy pattern which uses basic increases and decreases and knit
in the round. The gauge is not important for these patterns, but, as with all toys, you
should use needles one size smaller than indicated on the yarn to prevent the
fiberfill from showing.
