Pattern Description:

In honor of the Dairy State, Wisconsin, which is where I live in Madison, I decided to make a Milk Cow. This pattern was originally published in the holiday special gifts issue of Knit Circus 2011!

Gauge:

5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7.5 inches tall

Materials:

  • US size 6 (4mm) dpns
  • US size 9 needles (optional) for scarf
  • fiberfill
  • embroidery floss for nose and eyes
  • yarn needle
  • scissors
  • ruler or tape measure
  • stitch markers
  • poly-pellets (optional and considered a choking hazard for young children and babies)
