Pattern Description:

Easy to knit, very cute bear.

Arms and legs are easily button jointed and the body and head and nose are all knitted in one easy piece.

All my knitting patterns are full of step by step coloured photos for added guidance should it be needed.

Not too important for toys. As a general guide if you find your stitches are tight
on the needles then move up a needle size, or, if they are always looser go down
a size. Either way, the size of 'HONEY BEAR' will just vary slightly. Please be aware that you will be using fibre fill and you will achieve a better result if your knitting isn't too gappy.

For this pattern I have used 2 strands of yarn together:
6mm knitting needles 14sts and 18 rows for a 4ins / 10cms square.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • APPROX SIZE: 15ins / 38cms

  • 100 gms med cream double knit (or equivalent) yarn
  • 150 gms Teddy Coral chunky (textured yarn)
  • Oddment in double knit, or equivalent, yarn for paw pads and inner ears.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 x pair 6mm knitting needles
  • 1 x pair 7mm knitting needles
  • 1 x pair safety eyes
  • 4 x buttons for fixing arms and legs to body
  • Length of brown yarn for mouth and nose.
  • Good quality polyester fibre filling

My mother taught me to knit as a child. I also studied embroidery and needlework at school and college. Knitting, however, has always been my favourite craft.

All my patterns have easy to follow instructions with plenty of step by step photos.

May I just say a big *thank you* to everyone who has purchased one of my knitting designs. x
