Pattern Description:

I was recently asked if I could adapt my Huggins the Hippo pattern to make a standing hippo, and here he is ... say hello to Higgins the Hippo!

Higgins is a similar size to Huggins, but he has a slightly bigger nose and is standing on his chunky feet.

About the pattern ...

The knitting pattern is written row by row so it is easier for beginners to follow, and includes a list of abbreviations and step by step construction details with photos to help you.
The pattern is written in English.

All pieces are knitted flat on straight 3.5mm needles except for the tail which is short crochet chain (although you could use a little plait of yarn if you don't know how to crochet).
