My nephew Henry's favourite pet hen named Thyme sadly died of old age this summer and Henry asked me to knit her so that he would never forget her. So I did and Henry is delighted.
Thyme is lifesize at 45 cm high and 45 cm long and has some interesting knitting features. She stands free yet still has very delicate feet and I particularly like the row of "feathers" I designed for her tail and wings.
The knitting pattern contains lots of step by step photos to help you along the way.

My work has appeared in English knitting magazines and I have had a number of book opportunities from well known publishers.
