Pattern Description:

I have been asked many times to design a Grim reaper, but the thought of him kind of scared me, so I have done my own comical version.

He stands 11 inches high and will add a bit of fun to the scary Halloween decorations on October 31st.

The pattern is clearly written, easy to follow and contains many helpful photographs to ensure you get the perfect finish.


Not that important as long as your stitches are tight enough that the fiberfill does not show through, but as a general guide, 7st and 11 rows to an inch.


  • DK weight yarn
  • 3mm needles
  • scrap black & white felt
  • small piece of stiff card
  • 3 plastic drinking straws
  • fiberfill

Suggested yarn:

285 meters of DK weight
