Gray Wolf toy knitting patterns...
My friendly wolf is helping me tidy up my knitting station, thank you Gray!
If you would like to knit your own wolf, this 8 page knitting pattern includes row by row instructions, a list of abbreviations, photographs and construction details to make the wolf and his jacket. To save time on seaming the legs and body are knitted in one piece.
Pattern notes...The pattern is worked flat (back and forth) on straight 4mm needles, except for the jacket sleeves which are knitted in the round. The pattern is written in English. The wolf is knitted in aran yarn and the jacket in a double knit yarn (less than 50g of each yarn is needed). The wolf pattern incorporates intarsia colour work to make the head and jacket. You could also use this pattern to knit a fox by using a fox red colour instead of grey.
