Pattern Description:

You can easily knit your own Happy Hippo.
This cheerfully smiling hippo has moving jointed limbs and cute button eyes it is so quick to knit using large size needles and pure wool, then magically changed into thick soft felt by a ride in your washing machine!

This original hippo design is knitted in pure, hand wash wool and then transformed by a ride in a washing machine into soft strong felt.

Hippos legs are jointed so it can sit, stand or cuddle and its traditional button eyes twinkle above its huge smiling hippo mouth.

My clear and detailed pattern and 7 pages of fully illustrated instructions guide you step by step, through knitting, sewing up, felting, assembling and creating the face of your Hippo.
