Organic cotton, bright colors, and knit in one-piece, these caterpillars are sure to entertain any little one! Stimulating colors increase baby's visual tracking and the "rattle" helps baby with sound location. Gauge is not important with this pattern, nor is the yarn chosen, as you can make it "your own" depending on what inspires you! All you need are 5 different colors of remnant yarn, hypoallergenic fiberfill, glue, a small bead container & a few beads (for rattle). This pattern is knit in the round on double pointed needles. The antennae is a simple crochet chain.

I am a transplanted Canadian ( a proud Newfoundlander in fact!) to the state of Indiana. I have basically been knitting for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have lovingly gifted my knitwear to anyone who appreciates it. In 2010, with much encouragement from friends and family I began designing my own patterns. Now in 2014, I have finally decided to share some of them with you!
