Pattern Description:

Because of my charity work, I have now designed three puppy dog knitting patterns and two little charity jumpers, and a rabbit....so thought I would like to add everyone's favorite....the Teddy Bear. The name comes from someone who saw another bear I made from someone else's pattern a while back...and I asked the lady if she would mind me using the name for my new creation....and luckily...she didn't. I've really enjoyed making all these little fellows, and hope that you will have as much pleasure making yours.

Gauge:

This really is not important, as this is a project that doesn't have to fit anyone...the only thing I would say, is please allow enough yarn if using a different one to the one I suggest.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The finished bear in a sitting position measures about 20 to 25 centimeters

Materials:

  • 150gr eyelash yarn (more if not brand recommended)
  • 100% high loft, soft toy polyester stuffing
  • safety eyes and nose
  • 3.5mm knitting needles
  • tapestry needle for sewing up
  • long pins for pinning the pieces together for sewing

You Will Also Need:

  • Enthusiasm and a will to succeed, as this isn't as difficult as it may look.

Suggested yarn:

0 yards of DK weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Ice Eyelash is what I used

Colorway:

Anything you fancy

I sell any toys I make ...
