Counting Sheep Mobile Pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

• The sheep are approximately 10cm long and 8cm tall. Mobile as shown is approximately 48cm in length by 18cm across. Finished length can be adjusted to suit requirements.

Materials:

• (This project would be suitable for using up left over yarn, as a guide approximately 9m of chunky weight yarn is needed for each sheep body section).

You Will Also Need:

• 6.5 mm (US 10.5) pair of straight knitting needles 3.25 mm (US 3) pair of double pointed knitting needles 18 cm (7 inch) diameter center of a wooden embroidery hoop Stuffing: washed and carded wool fiber or polyester fiber (if possible use a darker colour stuffing for the grey sheep to prevent stuffing from showing through the knitting). Tapestry needle Cotton knitting yarn in cream (for the hanging strings, this is less stretchy than the wool yarn for joining the sheep to the hoop).
