Pattern Description:

Constance has had a makeover!
I have re-designed her with the addition of short rows in her limbs. If you are not familiar with short rows, there is a great free online class on Craftsy, it really is an easy technique when you know how!

Constance is real baby sized at approximately 22.5 inches from the top of her head to the tip of her toe.

She is worked entirely on straight needles and seamed together using Mattress stitch, Whip stitch and Back stitch. I do not consider her to be a complicated or fiddly project and once she's made, she is such fun to dress up :)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Real baby sized (approx 22.5 inches)

Materials:

3mm straight needles
4mm needles for the nappy
white DK (light worsted) for the nappy
3 x 50g balls of DK (light worsted)

You Will Also Need:

scrap of black DK for the eyes and mouth
yarn needle to sew up
lightweight stuffing
pink food colouring or non-toxic paint for the cheeks / mouth
