Pattern Description:

Love cupcakes but don’t love the calories? Knit up one of these quick and adorable cupcakes for yourself! Each one only takes a small amount of yarn so you’ll have a delicious-looking confection in no time, complete with seed-bead sprinkles and a cherry on top.


20 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size


  • Worsted-weight yarn, about 20 yards (for cupcake liner)
  • Worsted-weight yarn, about 5 yards (for cake)
  • Worsted-weight yarn, about 20 yards (for frosting)
  • Worsted-weight yarn, about 20 yards in red (for cherry)

You Will Also Need:

  • A pinch of seed beads for sprinkles (optional)
  • Set of four double-pointed knitting needles, 3.5mm (US 4)
  • yarn needle
  • Handful of stuffing
