Pattern Description:

A very cute and cuddly bat to knit for the Autumn season! It is made with some intermediate techniques, such as knitting in the round, but is a fun way to practice your knitting skills. All the toy pieces can be knit up in 4-5 hours, with about 1-2 hours for assembly, making this a fun weekend project. You can also knit one or two, or a whole family of pumpkin friends for your little bat, since they take less than an hour!

Gauge:

22 sts and 32 rows per 4" in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

8" tall (bat)
3-4" tall (pumpkin)

Materials:

50 g worsted weight yarn in main colour
15 g worsted weight yarn in contrasting colour
15 g worsted weight yarn in orange
small amount of worsted weight yarn in green
stuffing
4 mm (US size 6) set of double pointed needles
4 mm (US size 6) pair of straight needles

black yarn to embroider faces
tapestry needle
