Do you know the little shaker eggs that the music teacher hands out to the little ones at music class? Now you can make your own! I made some 4 years ago, and they still are in existence.
Babies love noise makers, and this is a soft and safe toy to allow baby to play with. The rice (or another dry filling) -filled plastic egg is encased in the knitted covering. It is just right for tiny hands to grasp. Make several and fill them with different dry goods to create different sounds.
One egg can be made in as little as an hour.

I have been knitting for 56 years and since the grandchildren arrived have been knitting daily. I decided I wanted to create easy predominantly seamless knitting projects because I love knitting in the round, and more important I hate to sew pieces together!
I have had many wonderful comments from knitters who have created items from my patterns and like their finished projects, but should you come across a flaw or something that doesn't seem quite right in the instructions, I hope you will contact me! Contact me at woohoopepper@hotmail.com with any of your questions or concerns.
You are free to sell your finished items, but please give me credit for the pattern.
Thank you and happy knitting!
