Pattern Description:

A lovely light and drapey cardigan knitted in laceweight silk, perfect for keeping the chill at bay on long summer evenings. An understated design with a pretty floral lace edging.

This pattern is suitable for an intermediate/advanced knitter. It uses some slightly unusual lace knitting stitches - full instructions are given. It also requires use of mattress stitch.

Gauge:

Before blocking, 24sts
and 32 rows = 4".
After blocking, 20 sts and 30
rows = 4".

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

To fit bust 321/2" (35", 371/2", 40", 421/2") Dimensions: Length shoulder to hem = 22" (24", 27", 29", 32") Around sleeve = 13" (151/2", 171/2", 20", 22") Across back (armpit to armpit) = 171/2" (20", 23", 26", 281/2")

Materials:

Yarn: Dyeforyarn Lace / Tussah Silk, available at www.etsy.com/shop/dyeforyarn 1 (1,2,2,2) skeins at 695m/760yds per skein. Needles: One 4mm / US 6 80cm circular needle.
