Pattern Description:

This is for a stunning set for baby's first public appearance.
It comprises a gorgeous christening/baptism robe plus a matching bonnet and bootees.
The robe can be made in short, traditional or sumptious extra-long lengths. It is is a delicate lace stitch with panels of knitting-in lace down the centre front and back. The long sleeves tie at the wrist with ribbons and the simple bodice fastens at the back with three little buttons.
The bonnet has a frill to frame baby's face and the crown is trimmed with knitting-in lace. I added a triple rosebud and pearl embellishment to make it extra special but embellishments are your choice.
The set is finished off with adorable, traditional bootees which tie with ribbon and are also adorned with knitting-in lace.
It is to knit in 3ply and will fit 0-3 month babies or 20-22" reborn dolls.
Baby Faith (Part 2) is also available separately and includes the matching heirloom shawl.
