A cat(tm)s mane for your little lion :)
You can use buttonhole/button or just sew it in a loop. Worked flat. Fringe attached with crochet hook.
Gauge:
12 stitches and 12 rows = 2 inches in Garter St
Suggested yarn:
115 yards of DK weight
