This sculptural scarf is made with yarn in two different weights: lighter-weight yarn flows in ruffles on the edges, while the heavier-weight yarn is gathered in folds in the middle for extra warmth. This attention-drawing scarf can be knit in similar colours or in contrasting colours for an extra punch.
The scarf is knit using 3 separate balls (2 of the lightweight yarn, 1 of the heavier weight yarn) using a basic intarsia technique.

I'm a lifelong crafter, but settled on knitting in university when I wanted sweaters but couldn't afford to buy them. My first knitting love was lace. I'm sure I'll keep returning to lace, but there are so many other fun techniques to explore as well!
