Pattern Description:
This is a pattern for a playful scarf in fun, bright colors, perfect for a child. Also a good project for the beginning knitter because Garter Stitch is used predominately. The Drop Stitch rows, combined with color changes in the yarn, add a little "something extra," to take the scarf beyond a typical Garter Stitch scarf.
Gauge:
13 st & 16 rows garter = 4"
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Finished size = 6 x 40 inches (minus fringe)
Materials:
- Size 8 needles
- 2 skeins (3.5oz) bi-color chunky wt yarn
