Pattern Description:

The stole features three stitch patterns, all combining cables and lace.

Knit two pieces, beginning at the bottom edges, and join by grafting at one of the garter ridges.

Knitted on a size 6 needle makes it a very approachable project. The yarn will "bloom" when blocked, giving the finished shawl a full and lovely drape.


24 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.
Gauge is not critical

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 22 "W x 90" L (blocked)


  • Yarn- 1400 yards fingering weight yarn
  • Needles- Size 7 (4 1/2mm) circular or straight
