Pattern Description:

This shawl started out as a very different design--its title comes from the "shift" in the design that happened by accident as I lined up the stitches. But, since I liked the way it was coming out better than the original sketch, I kept knitting--and this is the one of a kind result.


Gauge is not crucial and depends on needle/yarn size.


  • size 3 US knitting needles, 440 yds fingering weight yarn
