Little babies love to snuggle. This cozy is uniquely designed to keep baby wrapped up tight and safely, in the Car Seat or out. Infant's legs are inserted first, baby can then be strapped into seat (or placed in grandma's arms) where swaddle wings fold over and are fastened with buttons or toggles. SnuggleBug wouldn't be complete without a matching hat. The set is worked in DK weight yarn so that it gives warmth but is not overly bulky, making it safe to wear even while riding in the car. Fits babies up to 6 months - about as long a they will enjoy not having full use of their arms!
22 sts and 32 rows per 4 inches in stockinette

Kate's When I Grow Up line is for those of us who are not tots, featuring a modern classic style. Kate also strives to add specifically to the growing body of knits for boys as she has three of her own! You can find her patterns at your local yarn store or online. She also does freelance work for a variety of publications.
In her non-knitting life, Kate has just finished up a PhD in Political Science from the University of Florida. She lives with her family in South Carolina, which includes husband Ryan, Jesse, Charlie & Oliver (3 very handsome Tot Topper's models) and beloved dogs Cooper and Lou. You might also see the Oates' clan at a Clemson football game. Go Tigers!
