- knit, purl, knit 2 together to decrease, use a cable needle, yarn over to create buttonholes, knit in the front and back of a stitch to increase
Pattern Description:
A stylish and unique owl diaper cover design. This download includes 2 patterns with 3 size options for each design. This makes an adorable photo prop and will be treasured for years to come as a one of a kind shower or baby gift. The color options are endless for both baby girl and baby boy.
Note: sizes designed to fit over cloth diapers. Will easily fit over disposable diapers, but you may need to size down or shorten length of pattern slightly as necessary.
Designed to be worn over a diaper, not as a wool soaker, as the wool called for in pattern will felt.
Gauge:
3 stitches and 4 rows = 1 inch in stockinette stitch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- small, medium, large (newborn-18 months
Materials:
- 50-75 yards of Bulky Wool such as Lamb's Pride Bulky
- size 13 needles
- 2 buttons
- a cable needle
- 10-15 yards of Bulky yarn in an accent color if knitting the applique style cover
