I needed the perfect project to teach my knitting students how to do increases and decreases... The Lace Center Heart was born!
This cloth can be knit from cotton to use as a dishcloth or washcloth
Made from fingering weight, this is perfect to add a touch of color to any other project.
You can make multiples and sew together or onto patches to make blankets and quilts.
The possibilities are endless! What will you create?
You cast on at the top of the heart, and the work down towards the point. Make sure to cast of LOOSELY or the bottom of your heart will pucker.
Not important... Sample was knit from worsted, and US 8 needles with an approximate gauge of 9 stitches and 15 rows to 2 inches
30 yards of Worsted weight
