Pattern Description:

This ice cream cozy is perfect for keeping your warm hands off of that freezing cold container of ice cream! It fits pint sized containers and the 2x2 rib pattern gives it a nice, snug fit. The combination of knitting, purling, and knitting 2 stitches together makes it a great pattern for all levels of knitters.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size

  • For this project, you will need a set of four US8/5mm double pointed needles (DPN's), a stitch marker, a tape measure or ruler, and a tapestry needle. The yarn is a 10 ply Aran, like the Red Heart and TLC yarns that are available at most craft stores. This cozy takes around 50 grams of yarn, so it can even be made from the leftovers of a larger skein!
