Pattern Description:
This adorable cabled owl bag is the perfect accessory for your knitting or crocheting bag. It is perfectly sized to hold a standard wound ball of yarn and can even fit a small project as well. The top edge can be done two different ways and the drawstring closure helps to ensure that nothing will fall out. This bag also features an optional reinforced hole in the bottom of the bag, which is useful when double stranding or to help keep your yarn from tangling.
Gauge:
15 sts x 22 rounds = 4" knit in stockinette stitch in the round
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 14" - 17" circumference x 5 1/2" - 7" tall
Materials:
- 100-125 yds Worsted Weight Yarn
- Size 8 (5.00 mm) 16" circular or DPNs
You Will Also Need:
- 1/2" nylon ring (optional)
- 1" x 1" piece felt - contrasting color to yarn
- OR 8 - 1/4" buttons
- sewing thread
- tapestry and sewing needles
- stitch marker
- Crochet hook, for casting on
- 2 yds matching grosgrain ribbon
