Here's an easy, fun way to keep the little ones involved in a project that doesn't cost a fortune to make, Especially useful to have on hand if you find yourself with an indoor rain day!

I myself have fond childhood memories of watching my mother create beautiful egg decorations using cotton string and balloons. I watched as she wrapped brightly colored cotton and glue around the balloons and set them to dry.

The next morning I would get to pop the balloon to reveal the delicate cotton egg decoration. I have carried on the tradition with my children adding beautiful knit flowers.

Materials:

balloon
Elmers glue
#4 double pointed needles
#3 double pointed needle
3 colors of 100% cotton in d.k. weight
