Two skeins of Cascade 220 (440 yards total) make this colorful felted iPad case. The yarn is used double throughout on a size 13 circular needle, so this practical accessory knits up in no time and makes a great gift. The felted fabric provides a lovely cushion for your iPad.
Any other 100% wool (not superwash) may be substituted. Have fun mixing colors and using up stash yarns!
Body of case is worked in the round; flap and back pocket are worked flat.
There is one seam at the bottom of the bag; pocket is sewn on to the back
Pattern includes complete directions for felting and a photo addendum on the last page (which need not be printed).
Approximately 2.8 to 3 stitches to the inch. Because the case is felted, the gauge does not need to be exact, but shouldn't be smaller than 3 stitches to the inch.
440 yards of Worsted weight
