Machine Knitting Pattern
This must be the easiest ponchos ever to knit! For standard gauge punchcard machines without ribbers. Great for beginners (as well as more proficient knitters). Knitted in a simple all over tuck stitch, with attractive cross stitch embroidery detail on one side of front. Smart, yet casual, It looks great with jeans and is a must have for chilly Autumn or late Summer days. The poncho has a sensuous feel and a generous drape. Fast and easy to knit - great results.
I have a B.A. (hons) degree in knitwear design and have written for Machine Knitting News, Modern Knitting, Profitable Machine Knitting as well as yarn companies, including Bramwells and Atkinsons. I currently design for Machine Knitting Monthly.

From the time I could pick up a crayon or pair of scissors I have created, and created, and created ..... I had my first solo art exhibition at age 14!
I went on to University and took a B.A. (hons) degree in Knitwear Design at Nottingham Trent University and am now a pattern designer.
