Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and Purl

Pattern Description:

Tammy is making this Eagle motif into a blanket for a Vet.....She doubles acrylic yarn & uses 9 or 10 knitting needles.. This way it comes out much bigger and very little blocking is needed..

Blocking makes the letters show well
Instructions are on the bottom of the pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 15 1/2 " x 9 1/2"


  • 1 large ball of cotton yarn
  • Saves on joining smaller balls of yarn
  • You won't need the whole ball

You Will Also Need:

  • 4mm or US #6
  • I use circular needles but knit straight on them
  • Never lose the other needle
  • Very compact to take along
