Pattern Description:

This cute little butterfly bookmark is a real quick knit which can be done from 4-ply sock yarn leftovers.
It is also suitable for double knitting beginners.
A photo tutorial on the two-color cast-on and a short introduction to double knitting is also included.

Size of the bookmark in the picture is: 15 cm x 6 cm

is not important, but mine was:
7 stitches and 9 rows = 1 x 1 inches in double knitting

Materials:

  • 2 double pointed needles 2.00 mm.
  • Some leftover sock yarn (or Acrylic yarn in similar weight) in dark red and off-whi

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends

230 yards of Fingering weight
