Realistic looking daffodils that are quick to knit and use just oddments of yarn.
The stems can be supported with wire so the flowers will stand in a vase. They also make a very nice brooch or lapel pin. You can knit just the flower heads and add them to spring wreaths, Easter gift cards or napkin rings.
The daffodil is knit flat on two needles.
The stem is knit as an i-cord. There is a full photo tutorial on how to do this included in the pattern,
gauge is not critical for this pattern

I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :)
